Accepting assistance applications and holiday donations annually from October 1st - December 15th.
Each year, We Care partners with 100’s of donors to provide over 1100 children with gifts, over 125 teens with gift baskets and over 300 families with holiday meals.
If you are in need of assistance for the holidays, or have the ability to donate, see below or contact our office.
We Care partners with donors like you to provide:
Holiday Meal Baskets for Thanksgiving and/or Christmas. (Distribution dates vary throughout November and December. Contact the We Care office for dates/times.)
Christmas Hope - Gifts for children ages 0 - 12. Some suggestions are: Lego, dolls, sports balls, puzzles, books, learning games, toy cars, stuffed animals, etc. Please, no clothing, shoes, used items or open items. (Due no later than Sunday, December 15 to First Assembly of God.)
TeenTidings - Gifts to fill baskets for teens, ages 13 - 18. Suggestions include gift cards for $10 to local establishments, like the movie theater or bowling alley, McDonalds, Subway, Burger King, etc."; ear buds, graphic novel or game book (word search, etc.), blanket, ear muffs, hygiene items, board or card games, sports balls, hat/mitten/scarf sets, etc. - for both boys or girls. All items should be donated seperately. (Due no later than Thursday, December 12 to We Care.)
If you would like to do either the Meal Basket(s) or the Teen, you must contact We Care so that all kids will be sure to receive gifts, and we won’t have too little or too much. Meal baskets can be dropped off at the We Care unless your group is providing the basket and would like to distribute at your location, that can be arranged ahead of time. Please contact We Care for dates/times for drop off as refrigeration space is limited so we can not store it for very long.
