We Care is Community.
We are a faith-based non-profit that continues to serve everyone in the area who might need a helping hand, regardless of income or age - for over 40 years.
We Care is Clients. We provide centralized access to resources for clients through our office staff and volunteer who match people in need to assistance available in the community. We Care has partnered to provide over 35 programs and ministries at local churches, agencies and organizations to help people by filling the ongoing needs that exist for so many in our community.
We Care is Donors and Volunteers. We Care offers ways to give back to the community, whether it is through the donation of your time or your goods and services. Because of this amazing support network, We Care is able to offer aid to over 9,100 requests for assistance each year, which is over 5,900 families in our communities. We Care could not exist if it weren't for the generosity of countless volunteers and donors that make a difference every day.
We Care is Resources. Every year, We Care offers workshops and special programs to education on the issues faced by those in poverty. If you are interested in having someone come talk to your group, business or church, please contact director@wecare-inc.org.

It takes a village! If We Care does not have the program, ministry or pantry resource that is needed, we have a network of supporters that we can reach out to. We Care works with 100’s of organizations, agencies, businesses, groups and churches to meet the needs of the community.
For example, the State of Michigan provides (limited) funds for housing for those in need, called HARA funds. When someone calls We Care looking for help with rent or their mortgage, we can reach out to Southwest Michigan Community Action Agency, who is in charge of the HARA funds for our area. If a senior citizen calls and is looking for assistance, we can bring in Senior Services in Van Buren and/or Allegan Counties, Area Agency on Aging, and others.
We love our partnerships, supporters and all those who contribute to the implementation and success of those in need in our community.
We Care meets almost 10,000 needs each year. We can’t do this without the amazing support of our donors, volunteers and community partners. THANK YOU!
