We Care Community Resource Center

We Care is about Relationships - with our community, our clients and our donors. We Care is a faith-based non-profit that has been serving the community for almost 40 years by meeting the needs of all our neighbors, regardless of income or age. We Care is the place to turn to in times of need, distress or crisis. It is the place to receive or to give back, to have needs met or to pay it forward.

We Care provides Relief - through volunteerism, opportunities to give back and the ability to help those in need. We Care partners with the community to provide over 25 programs and ministries through local churches, agencies and organizations to assist people by filling the ongoing needs in our area. We provide direct services to clients through our staff and volunteers who match people in need to assistance and resources that are available.

We Care offers Resources - whether you need help or have something to give, We Care is the resource center for our community. We also offer workshops and education to our clients and the community. We Care could not exist without the generosity of our donors who give their time, funds and physical goods to make a difference every day. Because of these, We Care meets over 9,850 requests for help each year, that’s over 5,000 families assisted.

.... Because We Care!

“We Care is very helpful. They made me feel good and helped me get food and stuff for my family. When it was time for my kids to go to school, we got school supplies, clothes and shoes, too.   I couldn't afford it but they helped me!”

— Sarah W.

“When my electricity was shut off, I didn't know what to do.  Everyone said to call We Care.  So I did.  They made me feel like everything would be ok - and it was.  They paid my bill and we were able to get help with Christmas gifts too.”

— Kate and Brendon P.
